Arcadia Montessori was founded in 1972 by Judy Pemberton.
Arcadia Montessori hires college educated teachers that have obtained their A.M.I. specialized certification. Our average staff member has been employed by the school for nine years.
Arcadia Montessori uses the method as taught by Dr. Maria Montessori, using her hand-made, hands-on, high quality materials from Holland. We incorporate into our program art, music, creative dramatics, animal care, gardening and cooking.
Arcadia Montessori accepts children at 18 months (not potty trained) through kindergarten age 6. Each class is limited in size to maintain a 1 to 7 ratio in toddlers and a 1 to 11 ratio in pre-primary.
Arcadia Montessori is open year-round with the exception of legal holidays and winter vacation break.
There is a $155.00 annual registration and supply fee. Children may enroll after their parents have toured our campus, completed the application, school contract form and paid the registration fee. An immunization form must also be completed upon beginning our school.
